Energy Systems Audits and Evaluations In order for any enterprise to effectively manage its power consumption and energy expenditures and implement new solutions, it needs to understand how it consumes energy, i.e., how much energy is consumed at different times, by different pieces of equipment and for different divisions or departments. This requires the deployment of energy monitoring systems. These include both hardware and software. Echelon is presently restructuring its approach to energy monitoring and is testing a number of advanced technology systems including various renewable energy system products.
